We will discuss Informatica MDM architecture and its components.
MDM architecture:
Informatica MDM architecture is 3 tier architecture as depicted in below image
2)Hub Server & Cleanse Match Server:These servers are sychronized with application server like Websphere,WebLogic and JBoss.Hub server consists of MRM,HM and AM.
Master Repository Manager(MRM):It is
To build Master Data
To clean and match
To Consolidate and manage master data across data sources
To access internal and external of an organization.
Hierarchy Manager(HM) :It allows users to manage the hierarchy data.
Security Access Manager(SAM):-It checks the authorized users to connect MDM Hub
1)Informatica MDM Console:It is also know as Hub console, it usedt to perform data management tasks. Access to this can be limited based on the roles & responsibilities of the users.
If we perform any data management tasks through hub console those are commit in database through application server

3)Hubstore:-It is same as database where all master database and custom ORS configured. Master database consists of meta data of ORS ,users, configured message queues etc..prior to MDM10 we can configure only one master database.Operational Reference Store(ORS) is custom database where the actual business data model locates.
